SINCERE 'THANK YOU' TO OUR SUPPORTERS
To mark the 30th Anniversary of Miss Margaret Russell's faithful missionary service in Kenya, the Mission Board launched an appeal to build two churches to commemorate these three decades of working together with the Bible Christian Faith Church.
The building at Makutano (the more expensive one) is well underway with the roof on and the windows installed. When this is completed the mud church at Kerenger will be replaced with a more permanent structure.
The target set for the building of these two churches was £30,000 and has now been reached. The Mission Board would like to acknowledge the mercy of God in this and thank all our churches and supporters for their generous contributions. It is our prayer that these new buildings will be a blessing and encouragement to the local congregations, and be meeting houses where God's presence is known and His power felt. May many souls come to know Christ and may believers be built up in their faith.

100 YEARS OF SPANISH GOSPEL MISSION
At the Ladies meeting on Saturday 15th March, we had along a missionary couple from the Spanish Gospel Mission, SGP. This mission has been working in the centre of Spain for 100 years. We thank and praise God for their faithfulness to His word - Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
The ladies and some of the men who joined us on this special occasion had a lovely time listening to the testimony of how God works even in times of great adversity through the power of the cross, to change lives and bring people unto Himself. Remember David and Jacky as they continue to serve in the city of Valdepeñas - they are relatively new missionaries and have been working in central Spain for the past five years. Pray that God will encourage them and open more doors to share the gospel in their area.
Remember as well the SGP as it was one of their missionaries that brought the Gospel to this area of the Sierra in northern Jaen, where Lyle Boyd and I work today, back in 1920s. We thank God for the love, interest and care that he has for the people in this area and we seek Him to come with revival power and move in the Sierra once again.
