MISSIONARY PROFILE
NOREEN MCAFEE
MINISTRY:
Principal Of Emmanuel Christian School, Nsaalu
HOME CHURCH:
Ballymoney FPC
ON FIELD SINCE:
August 2000
PROFILE:
The Lord graciously saved me as a young teenager and later called me to serve Him in Christian Education. At first, I had the wonderful privilege of teaching in the Christian School attached to my home church in Ballymoney for almost ten years. Then, the Lord burdened my heart for the children of Kenya.

In August 2000, I moved to Kapenguria, Kenya to work with Bible Christian Faith Church at the BCFC Christian Academy in Lityei. For the next seventeen years, I had the joy of serving God there with my missionary colleagues and the national believers. God was pleased to bless our efforts, increase our student population and supply much-needed facilities through the prayers and support of His people. Above all, He gave us a tremendous opportunity to teach His Word to the boys, girls and young people of that region. I rejoice in those who came to know Christ and I pray that God would continue to work in others who have heard and continue to hear the Gospel in that great institution.

More recently, the Lord put another burden in my heart, this time for the land of Uganda. I was challenged as I heard reports of another door opening for the Gospel at Emmanuel Christian Church & School, Nsaalu. I believed the Lord was leading me to leave what I was doing in Kenya and go over and help them. After much prayer, I sought permission (which was kindly granted by our Mission Board) to relocate to the Emmanuel Mission Station and I moved across in the Spring of 2017. The Lord has graciously undertaken for me in these months of transition and I thank Him for many answers to prayer.

There are many needs here at Emmanuel – great spiritual and temporal needs – which God alone can meet. I humbly request you, therefore, to labour together with us in your prayers to God for us as we seek to serve Him in this field. May many be won to Christ and may this place be transformed by His Almighty power.
