...striving together for the faith of the gospel
After nine months of furlough in Northern Ireland we made it safely back to Uganda on Tuesday 24th. Thank you for your prayers for travelling mercies. The Immigration check was straightforward with our work permits valid until 2020. We were so glad to exit Entebbe airport with all our luggage safely in tow and be met by Mr Andy Foster. When we arrived at the Mission Station the boarders and some members of staff were there to welcome us and there were new names and faces to get to know as well as many children that we know already. Miss Noreen McAfee and Rev David Park were also there to greet us.

We were very saddened to hear of Rev David McMillan taking ill at Dublin airport, but we are so grateful to the Lord for His gracious Hand upon the situation. The people here were most concerned for our brother in the Lord and we assure him of our continued prayers for his health and recovery.

It is rainy season here in Uganda and we are quite glad of the slightly cooler temperatures as we adjust from Ulster weather! The ministry of the church continues with fewer services during the three-week school holiday. It is a great privilege to have the opportunity to preach the Word of God in Uganda once again. Pray that the Lord by His Holy Spirit will apply His Word to the hearts of all who hear it.

We value your prayers as we settle back in to life in Uganda. Please pray for good health, safety on the roads, wisdom and fruitfulness in the church ministry and the ability to learn Luganda.
