SPECIAL MEETING IN ALCORCON
On Saturday the 14th of June we had a special meeting for past pupils of the sabbath School. The period covered the years we have been ministering in the Church in Alcorcón. One of the activities of our new church hall is the Sabbath School work and out of this grew the idea for this outreach. An invitation was sent to as many as we could contact. The invitation included their families as well. In all 14 turned up, as well as many of our own folks. The Lord gave us a very blessed time. We sang some choruses from that period and there were also some requests, indicating that a seed was sown during those years.

LIBERIA BIBLE CLUBS
The Sunday School and Bible Club in Paynesville are continuing steadily. Recently, five children completed a memorization challenge (Child’s Catechism 1-86, recited all at once, and Psalm 1) and received nice new Bibles as prizes. I’m teaching twelve piano students now, and many more of the children want to take lessons – but I have to tell them that the teacher’s schedule is full!! It’s encouraging to notice that for many of the kids, they are most excited when they learn to play hymns and choruses that they know from church.

BALLYMENA SHOW OUTREACH
A warm day on Saturday 31st May brought many people out to the Ballymena Agricultural Show. A team of children’s workers from Ballymena FPC had arranged a special outreach ministry for the occasion. It was a blessing to be involved in the outreach at the show as in previous years.

700 specially designed children’s gospel packs were distributed. Each pack contained a themed gospel picture, Colour in book, Children’s gospel tract and Bible bookmarks. The items were placed in a plastic see-through bag. A DVD introducing the children’s meeting was also included in each pack. The DVD included a Bible lesson based on the story of the lost sheep. It was narrated by Philip McClintock (Children’s Work Leader).

A large tent was also used for the day. Many children came into the marquee and made key rings, coasters and fridge magnets. Everything produced contained a verse of Scripture. It was a tremendous day’s outreach and the feedback was very positive.

Members of the Ballymena Youth Fellowship also distributed packs they had specifically put together to evangelise teenagers. All the gospel material distributed on the day was very well received.

I would like to say thank you to everyone who helped out – there was a lot of work and time spent in making up the packs and distributing them. A special word of thanks to brother Stephen Hogg who produced the DVD and the materials. Click here for more photos.

Please pray that the Lord will bless the seed that has been sown.

“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.” Ecclesiastes 11:6
