...the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few
The Moderator, Rev John Armstrong, had the opportunity to visit the work of the Free Presbyterian Mission Society Africa in Kenya at the end of May 2022. He travelled with Rev Ian Harris, and Mr Alastair Hamilton, Mission Board Chairman and Treasurer. This was the first return trip to Kenya for the Mission Board since the travel restrictions were imposed due to Covid, so there was much to do and see.

Over the two weekends, the men took part in three special services to officially constitute the Glory Bible Churches in Nyaporo, Shimo La Tewa and Tantana. These were significant steps in the development of the new Glory Bible Church denomination in Kenya and were a real encouragement to both visitors and members. Please pray for these churches as they now take the next steps to appoint elders, officebearers, and call pastors.

The two ministers also conducted a Pastor's Conference in Kakamega. Over two days, there were forty pastors and church workers in attendance from both Kenya and Uganda. The men also had the opportunity to visit the recently formed ‘Early Child Development Centre’ at Nyaporo Church and also the Youth work and Sunday school in Kakamega. Click Here to see more photos.

Thanks to Rev Patterson and his wife Alison, who along with the local pastors arranged the events. We would ask you to pray for the Pattersons as they have returned home for a break over the summer months.
