...the harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few
This year Nepal has experienced severe flooding in the southern part of the country. As a result sixty families belonging to our churches in the affected areas have had their homes or crops ruined. Our Mission Board has sent financial help to these families from the Nepal funds, to enable them to buy essentials like food etc. Please continue to remember them in prayer. Life is difficult for many, even in the good times – events such as the earthquake and this flooding makes it especially challenging. They must look to the Lord continually for their daily needs.

Sadly as an indirect result of the flooding one of the leaders, Gaurisanker by name, was killed when an electric cable from a pole struck him. Gaurisanker was due to be ordained in the next few months. Please pray for his widow as she sustains this tragic loss.

The Church in Nepal is deeply appreciatative of the help given at this testing time.
